Farnborough Air show-2010
I would like to take this oppurtunity to write about Faranborough Air show: what's new this year is there are new aircrafts at the air show; the long awaited Boeing 787 Dreamliner and the Airbus military A400M. What I sense is some form of reawakening of our Aero industry. There are abundance of new orders announced yesterday, first show day:
Emirates orders 30 GE90 powered Boeing 777-300ERs,
GECAS (a leasing company) orders 60 A320s and 40 737-800s,
Air Lease Corp. orders 20 A321s and 31 A320s,
Aeroflot orders 11 A330-300s.
More orders are expected throughout the week.
